The overall goal of UAC is to improve the living conditions of key affected populations (Deprived People) such as orphans, street children, internally displaced children as a result of the ongoing war in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions, youth, drug users, teenagers.

More than one million youngsters reside on the streets of Cameroon, primarily attributed to the economic downturn that occurred in the region during the late 1980s and early 1990s. When families face hardships, it’s the children of Cameroon who bear the brunt, particularly those in disadvantaged and marginalized areas.

United Action for Children (UAC) endeavors to facilitate the reintegration of street-dwelling children and those at risk of dropping out of school back into the educational system.

Through this initiative, children are provided with access to a secure and supportive environment. Here, they can participate in football training and receive education on topics such as conflict resolution and HIV/AIDS prevention. Additionally, they engage in foundational educational programs and vocational training in areas like computer skills and woodworking.

The organization’s goal is to engage parents and the broader community, ensuring local involvement and extending the reach of UAC initiatives beyond its centers and schools
