A huge Donation from Rohda RaalteOn the new year reception at Rohda Raalte, KiTs for the World was invited for the symbolic transfer of the old team kits. The club members were equipped with new shirts, etc. so the old still usable clothing was donated to KiTs for the World. Of course we are very happy with this. The football kits are used to motivate children and young adults in developing areas to, not only, participate in a football tournament but also to join projects that offer them the chance of a better future. Some of those projects are e.g.. Testing on HIV/Aids and information on prevention measures. Guidance on study and job search. Fight against racism, Hygiene education, equal rights for girls etc. |

Two weeks later the clothing could be collected. In addition to shirts, shorts, socks and training bags K4tW were also given full nets with footballs. All in all a great contribution of Rohda Raalte. There is a collection point placed in the clubhouse and we hope that all club members will use this to give their old kits and/or shoes a second life. Of course there will be feedback in the form of photos sent to Rohda Raalte after arrival of the goods on their ultimate destination. Rohda Raalte Thank you very much !! |
